This piece was my very first creation with birch bark and one of my favorite creations. It was inspired by a hike I had taken that very morning that overlooked a beautiful landscape, full of color. I often think about the different perspectives we have when looking at life and how it might be represented in how we view trees, this one looking straight into a wood. - BJ Rushton
