Being in the woods and close to nature brings me a sense of calm, connection, and peace. I hope my work offers that same feeling to you. My creative process is rooted in curiosity—an exploration of what it means to be in and of nature.

Twilight Chickadee

I watch the Chickadee flitting this way and that to, from, and around the bird feeder outside my window on a cold winters day. Sometimes with friends but sometimes alone, observing every movement with its tiny watchful eyes and fluttering away as quick as can be. I find myself wondering where this little bird goes at night. Does it like to sit on a branch under the stars and watch the world by moonlight?
